Hmm. Well I can say for certain that I've done every leve in Bloodshore and I don't remember ever having this problem...maybe you should pay more attention next time? Because since the beginning of the game there has been a lot of adjustments to the population and distribution of mobs. If a lot of people were having the same problem, I'm pretty sure they would have fixed it by now...

I have been agrroed by this mob a lot of times, it's at the exit to the tunnel west of Bloodshore and it's really annoying because there is no way to run past it without getting hit at least once since the path is really narrow and you have to get into it's range.

It's one of those plant monsters by the way.. The name eludes me, but I know Barometz, the NM has the same monster appearance.

btw, once I was doing a leve @ Camp Nine Ivies (a leve where you have to defend a point and sometimes mobs would spawn) when my LNC was lower, and I got killed by a stupid mob that there was in the way many times (a high level flytrap, iirc). Also, there were high level salamanders and buzzards near leve target.

Not like there is much of any penalty for death.

I was going a leve in Bloodshore yesterday when Barometz one-shotted me at the cave entrance near Barometz. That could be what he was talking about.

Roselings are sound agro are they not?

Just jam on that walk key when coming out of the cave...

yeah it was that guy, i did the leve again with that mob in mind and i pulled the leve mob with a spell and managed to pull it off no problem. it was jsut the first time being there and not expecting to run into a lvl 28 mob when im fighting lvl 20s. and yes, since it is so narrow, you cannot stop there because he will aggro you everytime

It's kinda sad that the mob distribution in FFXIV is so unbalanced. I can't think of any other MMO that has monsters of such disproportionate levels so close to each other. Hopefully SE will take the necessary measures to fix this problem in Version 2.0.

Yeah. Speaking of, though, can we get a fix on the bug where sound monsters aggro people walking? Like I've seriously been aggroed when locked on walk, entering a monster's radius many seconds later. I think there were times where my connection has dropped and I've not been aggroed, so I don't know what's going on there.
