But we do have our own personal Limit Break. Diamondback is twice as potent as a Tank LB3, LBSting is like Melee LB2, but every BLU can use it. The only one we're missing is Healer LB3, but eh. Maybe we'll actually get Auto-Life in the next major BLU patch or something.

Auto-life was exactly the next skill i thought, i would be perfect for solo content to use with final sting or self destruct.
As for deep dungeon and ultimates, its already trivial, because so many players buy that ultimate from anothers sadly. Deep dungeon it's already trivial, there a guy that cleared with all jobs.
Having blue mage do that kind of cotent would revitalize that content by bringing new possibilities, you could do a solo blue mage or 4 players, mixed with other jobs. After all the purpose of that its just for level up experience and if you aim to 200 it's for the fun and some rewards. As for Ultimate, its really a chaos when you don't have a quality of life i suggested to do that kind of content, the mechanics would go everywhere, ultimate it's just to get a cool glamour and say that you cleared the hardest content.
Im not asking for a blue mage to be in the same level to compete with other jobs because it's not the purpose the developers choose for it. It was made to do all the old content that people usually don't do, every blue sidequest that unlocks something and most people ignore, blue mage do that to get new skills, it was a very well planned job.
The best example of this is the guy who is still running without chocobo on shabowbringers :D, that why they made it obrigatory, if they made alliance raids drop like 3 skills, one at the last boss, im pretty sure more people would do them and not just for blue mage log, im always helping other players with blue mage and to unlock those sidequests while at it.

They could always just craft a new achievement for doing it as a Blue Mage (Healer Mimic for obvious reasons), but if we're going to get a Mount behind doing Savage content they might as well allow us to do the rest for more. Personally, I just want more new spells I can sink my teeth into like Double from the Ascians or Susanoo's big sword. Or finally giving us an Optimized Limit Break from Omega M / F so I don't have to keep looking at that full LB gauge in the middle of a raid tempting me with its pulsating glow. That being said, Auto-Life would at least make Transfusion viable until they do something like make it so if you have Healer Mimic it doesn't kill you outright just reduces your Health and MP to like 100 / 1000.

One interesting thing that happened to me after playing with blue mage since the release it was during the tomestone farm yesterday, i and another blue mage shot missile at the boss in the exact same time, and it ended up instantly killing the boss.
So another thing that happens and it isn't in the tootip it's with Toad Oil, it doesn't work with lv50 or more monsters. So another suggestion is to improve the tooltip to better specify its entire effect.

5.3 brought one quality of life for blue mage, and the last time they made a change to blue mage, it was followed by a major update for him, 5.1 buffed blue mage spells and changed how some worked, now we can name the save set, maybe load the hotbar with the load set, instead of having to make a macro for it to copy hotbar

I got another suggestion for blue mage, its to add in party finder a specificy type of duty for blue mage only, like there is dungeons, high end and others, then a tab for blue mage to make easier to find others so we can help each other

Yesterday i got an incredible idea for blue mage, as aetherial mimicry can change your role and certain stats are better than others for that specific role, and the blue mage have specific gear that was made to him the whalaquee itens.
So my idea is to make a gear set that its stats is based on the mimicry you are using like:
tanks get spell speed and tenacity but if you change to healer then the set will change giving spell speed and determination, and for dps critical and direct hit, not only the set but make blue mage specific materia that will change to adjust to your role, making switching to a role way more easier than hunting for so many gears and also having to remove the materia to put another just because you changed the role.

Right now i had an incredible idea, i will call it as blue magic creation.
And it would be an amazing system to make our own spells, yes custom spells.
Like you could make the element of your choice, then melee or ranged(of course ranged would have less power or higher cast time) then we could choose high potency at the cost of spell cast or choose instant cast but lower potency spell, and maybe even add a debuff to the enemy of your choice, all this using an amount of possible points to distribute among the attributes of your spell.
Example, 5 points to spend in your spell, having a debuff would use 1 point or if you choose no debuff and more power spend 2 points for increased potency, i will trust the rest with yoshida-san, but then we choose which skill effect(appearance/glamour for spell) we want, for example i will make all points in potency leaving no debuff and high cast time and giving to it the charybridis(behemoth meteor) appearance.
