Combine HQ + 1/2/3 Please

You don't think the addition of HQ crystals (36 in total including shards and clusters) would be better from a server database point of view than doubling all/most of the raw materials in the game ?

It's easy to come into a thread and go "phsst this thread is silly" it takes a bit of thought to give constructive feedback though, guess thats why there is so little of it on these forums.

I don't think it's silly at all. Why do I want to sell my HQ materials? They're hard enough to get. The point is, since SE made it so no difference between +1/2/3 then combine them please. I shouldn't have to sell these to gain valuable invenetory space, when a simple combine in a patch would easily alleviate the redundancy.

If it were such a simple fix, they probably would have done it already.

And as I said, If the VALUE of the HQ Materials is SO SIGNIFICANT for you that it outweighs the loss to your inventory, THEN keep them.

Obviously they DO exceed the value of your inventory for you. Given the possibility that this "simple combine" that would "easily alleviate the redundancy," is in fact not as simple as you think, maybe you should demonstrate why the inventory space that you admit is not even as valuable as the redundant HQ items you are holding on to is worth expending the limited resources of the developers.

On the other hand, you could simply sell your +3 items and buy +1 items. The power has been in your hands to fix your own situation the entire time.

Edit: Obviously free inventory space is great, and hopefully they will consolidate the items eventually. But given the great likliehood that it will not happen any time soon, I would just advise you to take matters into your own hands, and fix it yourself. You're not really being forced to hold onto these items, but I understand free inventory space is great. I just think... the choices are so blatantly obvious and so incredibly simple, that it would be hard for me to see why a thread of this type makes any sense. Especially when the devs already know about it, and have already stated their intentions.

I have a skull eyepatch +3 that I traded for that I DO NOT want turned into a +1.

On topic, I think it would be much easier on inventory space and clarity if all high quality items were consolidated to (HQ) instead.

eg:
Alumen > Alumen
Alumen +1 > Alumen (HQ)
Alumen +2 > Alumen (HQ)
Alumen +3 > Alumen (HQ)

To the contrary, those of us with +3 non-dated gear see it as a status symbol. It shows that we're veteran players if nothing else. It's awesome to have a piece of non-dated gear that's impossible to get any more.

You're right, I should have added "if you were to use this in endgame content" as I believe it is now unsuitable. But as afk gear, of course wear it proud! Sorry for my poor delivery.

Indeed, I wouldn't wear a skull eye patch +3 to a Garuda fight, but you better believe it's valuable to me.
