I do. Unwound is my favorite track.
FFXIV has such a huge range and variety of music, I have been known to select from it to have as background music for the D&D tabletop games I run. Plus, some of the alternate versions of songs are great; the piano version of "To the Sun" on From Astral to Umbral is wonderful travel music for tabletop, for instance.
And Shadowbringers in particular has been great; "Unchanging, Everchanging", "Unwound", "A Long Fall"... so many good tracks.
The music has only gotten better. I could jam out to the Twinning song all day
*cue Alex Moukala dancing to A Long Fall from the Twinning as in the beginning of his wonderful musical analysis of the track*
I always love the music in Final Fantasy games, not just FF14. I found myself using FF14 as my music player a lot when I'm not playing. Either listening to OSTs in the inn room, or leave my character in the open world, watching sunrise and sunset.
This is what I'm doing right now :o

Going to see Nobuo Uematsu for the anniversary concert was amazing and in general the FF scores have all been incredible/emotional pieces. You don't even remotely have to be an FF fan to appreciate them; and its really something that anyone with fairly broad music tastes will enjoy I think personally. So in other words. Like. Yes. Lol.
The series really has some fantastic music. Though I'm personally extra fond of the sound tracks from 13 & 13-2, and FFX. Sometimes I still dance to the intro movie of FFX-2, but only sometimes.
~~Good Luck.
I don't get the love for Uematsu.
Yes, he has put out a lot of great tracks over his career, but he doesn't put out a high ratio of great tracks (I keep a spreadsheet of all of my favorite tracks and who composed and/or arranged them, though I haven't updated it in a few months). He has been composing for three and a half decades. He has created 641 tracks for the mainline FF games (FF1-11, FF14) and the 19 tracks for Granblue Fantasy, I can only think of 44 tracks I really like from him. That's less than 7% hit rate. Even if we are generous and remove, say, 50 tracks to account for the remixes of prelude and the Chocobo theme, etc, that's still only slightly more than 7%. That is atrocious. Most of the time, when I like a track that was composed by Uematsu, it's a version arranged by someone else, not the original version (or even Uematsu's arranges). I think the reverence for Uematsu comes from him doing every track for the first nine Final Fantasy games. That, along with the prolific nature of the franchise, has associated his name with what is regarded as the golden age of JRPGs.
For FF11-FF13, the tracks are hit or miss for me. There are a few really good FF11 tracks but overall the OST is mostly meh for me. Out of all FF games, I've replayed FF12 the most amount of times, but I just don't like most of the music. FF13's soundtrack is one of the really good parts of the game. FF15 was by Shinomura, who I've noticed can do one really emotional, melancholic main theme for a game (Dearly Beloved, the Xenoblade Chronicles 1 title screen, Somnus from FF15) but the rest of her stuff is meh to me.
Masayoshi Soken: If you factor in all of the songs Soken has created for FFXIV, then Soken has put 110 great songs (that I like) out of 448 tracks. So about 25% of the stuff he puts out is great. Soken isn't a bad composer, and he has created a lot of great tracks, but it's most by the sheer volume of his work. Final Fantasy XIV is the current Guinness World Record holder for most original tracks in a video game, after all. (NOTE: according to an interview with VGMO for Shadowbringers, Soken said that the arrangements for the Eden raid were made by two other people. Yet, Soken is credited as the composer on Apple Music. That means VGMDB is the only correct source of information I can find... which may mean that my ratios are incorrect).
TL;DR: I think a lot of the Final Fantasy franchise's music is cherrypicked. Soken puts out the most consistently good music ("good" being stuff that I enjoy) out of any FF composer, but there are still other JRPG composers who have a higher hit rate, such as Falcom's sound team. FF14's soundtrack is still overall great and better than the vast majority of games.
Wooooowww!!! Thanks OP, that was great! I think I might agree, that's one of the best versions of Terra's theme I've ever heard. Even though it's basically a straight-forward recreation of the original version on real instruments, it's weird that I've never actually come across something like that before.
If I can piggyback off your topic, one of my favourite Final Fantasy remixers is Marc Papeghin. He's done some really amazing long-form medleys of many games in the series. One of my favourites is The Epic Final Fantasy VIII Medley which is a crazy two-parter that he collaborates with a bunch of musicians on. The whole thing clocks at about 40 minutes!
Yes I love Final Fantasy music. Even though I definitely hadn't played through all of the main line Final Fantasies. I like Blinded By Light from FFXIII. Hymm of the Fayth from FFX. Aireths theme from the 7 series. I have to many lol
