I have to say I agree with Shinklet. I liked having to talk to people or that mobs were a threat again. The normal overworld is anything but.

It’s going to have a new zone where you do quests and a boss fight that summons another boss. One party member will have to leave to group to safety while the others stack. The DRK weapon looks like a square tip. The weapon glows different colors.
They did mention wanting to have another Baldesion Arsenal-like experience somewhere down the line.
I'm hoping they'll just make it so there's no limit on how many people can participate for the sake of avoiding any drama like there was with the portals.
I'm between two opinions there honestly. I did like the sense of cautiousness it forced in a game where nothing is dangerous. The teaming up was okay and the socializing was the best I had in this game. I remember a player that was the designated "Ambulance" that would go raise anyone that asked with a double seater mount and escort them back to safety.
What I did not like was "RNG difficulty", namely quest locations filled with mobs where you had to wait minutes for an opening to get there (and potentially get one shot at the end of your cutscene), in Pagos among the griffons and in Pyros among the wolves especially.
Kinda hoping they double down on the old-school MMO aspects of this instance. Make it freaking insufferable to me, like they did with Pagos. Bring in the pain.
It was fine. I took multiple toons through Eureka and BA and only de-leveled once in the main zones. BA was even more challenging and as a result even more fun. If someone died a healer had to use Sacrifice which meant they had to die (commit suicide) and hope their other logo Remembered would proc and res them back to life. Some of the most fun I've ever had in this game and I've recently took another character through the content to get her WHM relic.
Yeah levelling down is what always kept me from stepping foot in Eureka in the first place
How about we accept that XIV combat doesn't work with content made for XI combat?
It's slow enough to bore you to tears but too fast to have a decent conversation unless you're a party of court stenographers.
"best content in the game?" it was large scale fate grinding or a demonstration of how boring XIV combat is when you have to do it for hours on end.
"at the sheer ire of casual limsa pleb afkers?" are you implying Eureka wasn't casual? lmao
For the record, there were plenty more people other than Limsa skanks, RPers and glam obsessed people who hated Eureka
