Who will keep playing once you need to start paying?

I would have been willing to pay from November. But I don't play hardcore, I can see if it wasn't for work/family I might start getting bored.

I won't have a problem paying. Like I said in another thread about the same topic, I've spent far more money on far worse stuff, and I actually enjoy this game and I want to see how it ends up.

I'm all for paying for the game as it stands now.

For as long as the game can hold my attention I'm ok with it, if at some point I lose interest, it will fall under the stack of games I purchased and gave up on.

Yeah I would definately play if they started to charge us now, I was willing to pay from October last year after the first free 30 days. This free to play atm is just a bonus imo. I like the game, and it can only get better from now on, and we're in at the start offering ideas and opinions to the Devs.

Will weed out all the worthless free loaders that are constantly using their account as blackmail to demand content.
Will sort the men from the boys.

I wouldnt pay until alot more was added/fixed. I dont see a point in paying when the game lacks in almost every area. With everything going up in cost now a days, I want alot I can do when ever I feel like doing it and not some half assed ill thought out game that doesnt deserve money yet.

ffxiv wont have much until about the end of the year with how slowly the changes are coming and then it wouldnt be worth it cause the year of DOOM and GLOOM would be here...... O_o

I actually enjoy the feeling of watching the game grow from a stumbling infant taking the first steps, to imagining the outcome, will it grow to become a star, capitalize the world market, or get by and make ends meat while enjoying the little things.

No it'll sort out the simple easily entertained ppl from more imaginative ppl that expect alot more from a ff game then your simple mind can apparently handle.

I won't pay until they have their re-launch with a completed game that should have been done after all the beta feedback.

The only reason I'm and I assume many other are playing still 1) it's free 2) is to get a jump on everything/one once it's re-launched.
