They did say Viera and Hrothgar are gonna be the last race, so dont get any hopes up. At most they will add male and female Viera/Hrothgar to complete them. But beside that, they have plenty to finish. Current Viera and Hrothgar still lack many things, unfinished parts. The UI of the character creator deserves better, more options are also welcome. Another "new", playable race is 100% not gonna happen.
It's looks terrible on worgen and tauren; instead of the neck hole on the base it's on the back. No idea of how ESO do it.
With viera they have to make veira versions like the did with miqo'te and it's a lot of armor to change. It also would look really stupid with large ears.
They should give them more hair though.
No other races will be added, only limited ones.
Didn’t Yoship say at one point they wanted to add a more wolf-like face for Hrothgar or did I dream that?
But yeah as many have stated, they said these will most likely be the last races they add. I imagine they’ll add the missing genders in an expansion or two.
It's the caps and hats that I'm raising an eyebrow for mostly. Those sit on the head, and could easily be moved back a little to allow the ears through for Hrothgar. No excuse for those not being usable yet.
Viera...I'm sorry to say that with those large ears, they may as well let them clip through stuff, it's going to be less work then having to reshape ear holes on everything for them.
Normal characters' hairstyles get partly or entirely switched off when they equip a hat or helm that covers it.
Hrothgar hair isn't programmed as a hairstyle, so most likely it can't be made to switch off in the same way, and would clip through the helm.
He said there was a wolf face. Either it was a mistranslation or he just misinterpreted what he saw.
Later when they released pictures of one of the face models (the one with tiger stripes) some people were saying "oh, that must be the wolf face he was talking about"... it's clearly a cat face as far as I can see, but evidently some people saw it differently and Yoshida seems to have been one of them.
