I just started R0'ing's every 2 seconds, and then I got a message stating emergency maintenance was going to be starting soon, I wonder if they're actually going to fix their horrible connectivity issue, or if it's pertaining to something else. *Fingers Crossed*

Maint didn't fix it. I just resubbed on March 26 after over a year not playing. Was find untill the start of April. Lucky to stay logged in for more then 5 seconds.
At this rate I'm going to demand a refund and check the legal channels.

I think I can be on for about two minutes before I get kicked, about to unsubscribe from an unplayable game.

I really don't understand how they can see like 20+ threads all regarding this issue (30002) and not make any effort to fix it, they just blame us for our connection settings. Any other MMO/Company having these sorts of issues connecting to their customers, would have fixed this immediately. I'm starting to think that I may have to go back to XI, which is a shame considering how much I want to support FFXIV, but the trouble just isn't worth the headaches or our money imo.

I'm having issues with this server error message too. Presumably the maintenance was going to fix it... I read a dev post that they wanted things fixed before weekend peak time.
It sucks that key problems like these rarely get addressed. Only content suggestions for 2.0 get attention :/

Just started getting these errors (30002) this week myself. It's frustrating not being able to do any content that takes longer than 10 minutes without the fear of disconnecting.

This game is unplayable for my partner and I without Battleping. I made a post in the Battleping thread about it. I really hope they resolve these.
We had disconnections as well as severe lag problems.
NOW WE HAVE TO PAY TWO ADDITIONAL MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEES FOR THIS GAME TO BE PLAYABLE!
Surely after 10 years of running an MMO, they'd have learnt a thing or two about servers and have worked closely with a manufacturer to have something designed for their next venture. The game's graphics are beautiful. It's a shame that it's currently a clunky mess, even with settings turned right down, without a service like this for people who are....*cough*....geographically challenged.
