The bycicle and the train suggestions, I love those! And now that we've got steampunk outfits, we totally need teampunk mounts to match.
And uhm something like the Mana Cutter but multiple spots?

Hope we get some kinda Garlean troop transport mount in the future.

The Greater Serpent of Ronka. It carries a second pot that you can stuff a passenger into. Except the pot doesn't resize and only their head sticks out, so a Roe or a Hrothgar will be the same size as a Lalafell riding in it. Do not question the power of the Serpent.

I'd be happy with more 2-seater mounts..and CAN THEY BE ACQUIRED IN THE GAME AND NOT FROM THE MOGSTATION?

The Magic Carpet should be a two seater.

Yeah, that's kinda funny. 4 seaters earnable in game, have to purchase the 2 seaters.
Closest is the Draught chocobos, you can get those by giving a friend your requruit a friend code. If they were already planning to play it doesn't technically cost extra.
