Fury's 14 Duty Action Warrior Issue

So I was able to investigate this a lot. Apparently there are TWO buffs that need to be activated in order to stop you from getting knocked off:

One is the Stand Firm buff. This is the yellow buff that you get when you activate the Duty Action. Initially, I thought it was wearing off before the hit, but it seems to last unless you move.

The other buff is a blue buff, I believe it's called Braced. I've seen this pop up as soon as you step into the action circle, but looking back I noticed it wasn't always there. I think it has to do with whether you are facing the boss or not. However, I haven't confirmed this yet.

a question in E5S for WAR player, why my holmgang can't be active in 14 phase when i am not targeting boss, while i can do it without target normal everywhere else, the icon is not gray out, it has a red x simbol in bottom right of it, this that a bug or i am doing something wrong?

When he dashes off during Fury's 14, you think you aren't targeting boss, but you actually are targeting him. He's off to the side, so the game thinks you're trying to use Holmgang on a far away target. That's why the red x appears.

Before, I used to untarget him and then use Holmgang. But now I run up to where the Duty Action area is and use Holmgang before using the Duty Action. I've been successful thus far.

So while it's not exactly a bug, it's still pretty crappy game design that you're forced to do it like this. If you ask me, trying to use Holmgang on a faraway target should just make it so that Holmgang gets cast without the chain. Either that, or increase the range.

Honestly from what I have seen the Duty action is finicky and might need to be looked at. I don't mind the fact looking at the boss as a requirement, but not tapping any buttons is a bit of a wierd inclusion, you know? Now I figure holmgang is going to be finicky with E5S which is why a few WARs I have played with generally will use holmgang on a tankbuster beforehand to save cooldowns for the Fury 14. Dunno if that's wise but seems the best option until its figured out every thing we can and can't do with this borked mechanic.

GNB, but similar context, what I normally do is spam the action, I've seen the action expire after a second but, hitting it again usually keeps it up long enough to survive the dash.
