Agreed, honestly they could cater to everyone's demands and someone will still complain there isn't enough content and they're cutting corners.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the future of the game. As someone who enjoys dabbling in many aspects of the game itself I'm not too worried about content being spread out a bit more than before. I'm glad that crafting and gathering is getting more attention and focus, making it a bigger part of the game overall. I'm also glad that we're getting more story heavy content as...ultimately that's the main reason to play a Final Fantasy game in the first place.
I do have some concerns in regards to customisation, though. I'm hoping we'll see the missing genders added at some point as well as an overhaul for the customisation options for the older playable races. We're reaching a point where certain NPC's look a lot more polished and interesting than player characters.
From reading the highlights I found of the interview, if the whole Queensblade stuff and Ocean Fishing end up being as fun as it's being described in the interview I can live without a Deep Dungeon. Especially if Yoshida follows through with his statement of adding leveling QoL content later on.
i know people still run POTD but do people even run the stormblood one? POTD wait time is usually 30 seconds to 1 minute while the stormblood one is 30+ minutes so why add a new deep dungeon if everyone is just going to continue running POTD
