I said this in another thread as well, it's very easy to make current battles (ifrit and Mog) need other jobs in. Example: make the spikes in ifrit resistance to magic and range... That way you can't bring in 5x black mages or ARC...

For moogle, and this is more logical, make some of the moogles resistance to magic or ranged... But then you take the option from people to go 5x ARC or 5x mage... and people will say that any set up works, true, but how often do you see people actually doing it??

What's funny is how people will come here and b$%@$ to SE that there is no challenge in the game. And when you try to invite a PGL to those battles they'll cry and even leave the party (happened to me more often than I can admit)

I want it to be a laggy animation-lock fest.

Not even being sarcastic. I love Ifrit/Mog's battles. They feel so fresh compared to everything else I've seen around lately.

Moogle Strategy:

If they want to break the Mold, and have Garuda step up to show its might as a primal:
Magic Resistance High
Arrow Resistance High
Weak to Enfeebling


(Note: I am not saying those are the only strategies, or the best strategy. Just that it is a strategy with a very high chance of success).

look closely at screenshoot too, we have 2 new players as well. Win without any issue with bunch of melees.

look at timer, only 3min and thats how far we got it down.

I have done everything with melee DPS, just because people are mostly dumb and can't play melee to avoid shit doesnt mean its not possible, l2play.

Garuda is going to be the release of multi-hit weapons.

or maybe just attack with donuts.

Garuda was one of the harder primes in FFXI anyways, so I doubt Garuda would be as easy as Ifrit.

But like others said, Garuda could be quite the adaptive fight (but so could Ifrit have been, too).
