I'm really happy to hear that. I'm not on Ragnarok since I didn't want to split with my friends on Palamecia, but I really wanted Ragnarok to succeed. I would most definitely make an additional character on Ragnarok if SE would get rid of the extra character fee. Ragnarok has to be the most global server, which sounds great!

So far I'm very disapointed with Ragnarok : I know the server is very young, but except for the LS recruitment spam in every language, it's quite dead. Finding a party or even buying stuff at the "AH" is just a paine, and I really regret to have left my old server for this one. I was having a lot of fun on Selbina, since I moved I'm bored and really wished I stayed on an US/JP server.

Wait and see as we say, but if it keeps like this, I'm fleeing Ragnarok at the first occasion.

Most shouts by now are about content, not LS recruitment.
The server is emptier than Lindblum was between 01:00-14:00 European time(Lindblum was one of the most active servers), but it's totally packed during EU prime time:)
Countless shouts for all kinds of content all the time and at least 10-20 replies whenever I shout for members for exp party/Ifrit/Moogle/AF/dungeons.

I logged in at 10 am and still found people to do stuff with, mainly from different time zones though and with longer waiting time for replies, but it worked:cool:

Main language used is English, in shouts as well as in party chat.
Ocassionally some French but never met someone who didn't understand English yet.

The AH really is horrible though, lots of things are not available at all, others are way too expensive (like 200k for a stack of arrows..:mad:)
Prices are starting to adjust though and more and more stuff is added to the AH:)

I enjoy Ragnarok very much, probably because I knew beforehand how much the population varies on an EU server depending on the time of the day.

It's a huge improvement over Saronia as far as EU hours go. It's probably horrible for JP and NA, though.

Mina-Tirith I totally agree with u , u only have to create a mule to check YOURSELF the reality.

I came from a server with a low EU population. I'm having a lot of fun at Ragnarok, there is no time when shouts are not filled in few seconds, there is even people waiting for someone to drop the party to join. I already did even hard content, like Cutter's Cry where you need to know at least with who you are playing and I reach the success. I would like to say that as many bad things like some items in AH being expensive or not, missing or not, we have a good ammount of people on this server and they are willing to play with anyone. Right now I'm typing, I see shouts for parties 30-35, 40+, DH, Ifrit, Moogle and even some JP shouts. What I most care if is during my play time, that is not short (tbh), has people online to do stuffs, and this I can have here. I'm happy in Ragnarok and I hope this server gets even more better til 2.0, so far it's my home and I'm glad I came here.

I have put up with all the hold-ups & short falls of this game. I have defended FF 14 loyaly since beta. I blindly defended FF14 through the first year when it was truly horrible. SE really did a FANTASTIC job with the AF/new raid update, but then they go and do something as idiotic as merging servers. I will take full responsibilty for moving my character of my own free will. But did SE plan to make a freaking junk server such as Ragnarok. I can live with the language barrier, hell I was excited about the change in culture and having an earlier raid times, but it is a ghost server. I just logged on and did a search of all areas lvl 30-50 and there were less than 200. ORZ.... Thank you SE for making the camel that broke the STRAWS back.

Funny, I just did a search for 50 only and it was over 200. I guess you play during non-EU hours.
