Who is your FFXIV character?

I feel like if I took the time to spell out my character’s backstory, I would be here for a while. She has an extremely complex and developed background to her. All of my characters have something to them, but Hyomin’s is likely the most developed.

Larek Darkholme is a polyamorous pansexual non-binary shape-shifter.

They can shift from Lalafel to Rogadyn or Hyur at will but they will never be a Miqote however -they have standards.

Currently a female Au Ra as they learn the ways of the Machinist, they are expected to become a Lala again in December and succumb to the Dark Arts.

She's just a girl who likes to dress up in cute clothes, but needs more money for it, so ended up killing gods. Cause why not.

Somehow she's still broke.

My character's back story is that he is descended from a WoL from a previous era, unbeknownst to him or his family. Last of his line from a backwater town, he was "touched" by a flux of Aether during the Calamity that woke his latent abilities (and tinged his hair and eyes crystal blue). From there he decided to be an adventurer and made his way to Ul'dah.

Might be a simple, genetic type of backstory, but I think the fact that it's a modest origin makes the character more compelling in the story to me.

Just a normal pirate adventurer, they see the profit in being known as a hero, trust goes a long way to get into someone's pocket. He uses guns and swords and now learning the gunblade. Now show me your bootay.

She is a vessel for the deeper parts of my heart.

My character was an acclaimed ERP actor. Hydaelyn, being a crystal and not able to enjoy that kind of thing, punished my character by being a small, adorable potato that doesn't remember anything about what happened.

Now she enjoys a house that doesn't smell like a lizard, cat or rabbit. Everything is pink. Life is beautiful.
