My friend has it on his guy. It looks like a spiky anime cut, really puffy. Looks like a butch style on females. I haven't actually seen anyone else really using it either.

First thing I plan to get from the Firmament once I actually have the time. I wanna be able to dress up as the FF1 Warrior of Light and/or Bartz. That hairstyle is good looking.
But for real though, yeah, it's ridiculous how little effort they seem to put into luxuries for Viera and Hrothgar since their release. At the very least, they could put in big bold letters on the equipment and hairstyle items saying, "Not currently applicable for Viera and Hrothgar."
After some digging, found a vid that shows it off.

It's the Warrior of Light (Alternate hairstyle) from FF1's hairstyle I think. This was also one of the hairstyles that entered the contest years ago.

still waiting on machina and rems hair...
Auri helmets were promised horn holes and adjustments.
But instead they clip right through like it's nothing, very few exceptions to this.
SE doesn't put a priority on things like this. They did away with racial concerns for the ARR launch. If this was still 1.0's design philosophy, we'd all have fitting attire and hairstyle options. ...and probably 40 ring slots.
Viera and Hrothgar, being incomplete races, don't get to have nice things
I really don't remember much of the pre-release Au Ra details, but ear holes would have been nice. I've always loved the few hats/helmets that have molded ears or ear-holes for miqo.
There are also a lot of hats that just hide the ears entirely. Wonder if they're planning to at least bring those to Viera/Hroth even if they don't plan to touch most of the others.
I do wonder if the reason they're not adding things to Viera is because it's far more difficult to implement on the Hroth, and they just don't want to deal with the outrage if one race gets something and the other doesn't.
