Entitled people kick from FC harassing after??

To paraphrase another post, sounds like you dodged a bullet.

For a subscription game, you'd assume the majority of players are adults due to needing to continuously pay. Sadly, many behaviors seem to contradict my logic.

The smaller the FC, the tighter the community. You bet your sweet bottom all /sh-recruiting FCs are a cesspool of drama, as opposed to the small group of close friends that do stuff together.

It must be a complex thing with these people... Even when you explain and state things clearly yourself and offer to give them things back and being fair about it too, because they are losing nothing and still get back items they were so willingly contributed. With the spamming of thief thing in FC chat was not called for. Did you manage to also file a report on them and those involved that were there to also harass you?

I didn’t file a report, my concern more at the moment was resolving things with the person, the people that showed up at the FC house didn’t say anything they just stood around for a couple minutes and left it was freaking bizzare given the timing of everything. I had one of the officers send the person’s mats back(I tried doing it myself but I couldn’t moogle mail them because they blacklisted me apparently?) and I was actually a bit worried they would try to twist things around and report me if the items they donated were still in the FC chest. I doubt a GM would have done anything to me because I clearly explained everything via in game chat, but still it was concerning and I didn’t want to leave any doors open.

It just really hurt because I’ve given out random mounts and minions to this and person in the past(like I do with everyone in the FC to make people feel welcome) and instead of talking to me and asking questions they assume the worst possible interpretation of events and cause drama.

I would have kicked them as well. This is a game. If you aren't happy with whom your playing, make the needed changes. You did the right thing.

If it hasn't been said already, you can block people from entering your FC designated house. I believe there is an option for the one who bought/owns the house so at least they cannot enter.

Pretty much why I avoid overly large and/or social FCs, and also things like discord. It's a bit of a tradeoff since getting peeps together for FC related activities is more spontaneously arranged by whoever is online rather than coordinated and synchronized by time zones and the like, but staying clear of such drama is well worth it.

My FC is about 5-6 peeps that are consistently on, and don't take long breaks between patch cycles. I bring this up because there seems to be some kind of correlation to that and members that bring the drama whose log in times and playtime in a given day are far more sporadic, and then disappear for weeks. It's difficult to call members like that committed to the game let alone their own FC; equally difficult to call and FC an FC when players like that make up the majority of it.

I think that blocks all non FC members which would mean friends of people in the FC can also not enter sadly.

I though you can put specific names on there? Reason I'm saying this, is in a previous FC, a member had one particular player stalking them. Each time they appeared, we blocked them from entering.

good choice, you don't wan't to hang out with people who hate and bully you, these people seem really creepy if they come to your house to continue their behavior.
