We're in the 'quiet period', I suppose. I don't expect anything utterly groundbreaking to happen until 5.3. 5.1 and 5.2 will be laying the groundwork for the finale of Shadowbringers and then 5.4 and 5.5 will be build up for 6.0. There will be intriguing elements across the board but the payoff will take some time to manifest, especially since each patch moves the story forward by a bit then ends with a teaser. That's how I see it, at any rate.

I get that. It just always irked me how they show all of what's to come in a trailer only to release it in bits to strech out the content for that patch. Them worrying about people rushing shouldn't be a concern because most of the stuff that is released can be finished in a few hours. The story patches are usually only about an hour to 2 hour's worth of content. And raids can be finished within a few hours depending on the party. I feel like that's why they put weekly caps on stuff.

And I'm not one of those people who rush through things either. It took me 3 weeks to finish all of ShB just because I was taking it all in and trying to finish things before the end of the game. But honestly, when I took on the Eden stuff afterwards, I finished all four normal trials in like 3 hours even with a PUG which is what I can see happening here.

I know. I've been playing since 3.0...I know that this quiet or "Lull" period is a thing. It's been like 3 months since there was any meaty content. If we're talking 5.3 or 5.4 for any meaningful content, we're in trouble. lol.

There wasn't one part of that trailer I wasn't hyped about. I am ready to watch videos of people getting pummeled to death by Ultimate Faust. I'm ready to do WoL things. I am ready to play as Estinien (no one can convince me he isn't our next roleplay) and pummel Zenos in the teeth. Also I want any cool moves that Estinien shows to be on my drg. In fact, getting out my old Stormblood artifact gear and glamoring it on.

Also, I am ready to cry miserably at the Nier raid. Everyone catch the outfit of who 2b is fighting? Ya, I too, am ready to cry.

It's 2P same model different character(hence different color) most likely she had the same mission as 2B and that is her version.

I doubt I'll see much, if anything, of ultimate because our static isn't really made for it but I'm looking forward to getting my ass handed by a new extreme. Escpecially first week when we have to play the mechanic guessing game :D

And everytime time something regarding G'raha Tia and his potential death gets mentioned, even if it's a "I won't throw my life away that easily" or something, it makes me nervous.
"My arm will not falter, my shield will not break" - I think we all remember how well THAT went for Brochefaunt.
Please don't kill G'raha off. Not now, not ever. Pretty please.
I can't wait for the story to continue, even if we're now in the calm before and after the storm. More Gaius and Estinien action yay! I really hope we can rp during one of those quests. It would be a huge missed opportunity if not. Crawling through Garlemald as grumpy jumpy? Where can I sign up?
