When will the 5.0 Relic weapon series begin?

Well... They knew they were doing Eureka long before 4.0 was release... That they don't even know what they're doing with Shadowbringers Relic yet... That's a terrible sign... My guess is a 5.45... They'll decide what they're doing by 5.15 and then delay it multiple times until we know 6.0s name before 5.xs Relics see the light of day... This is a joke, I hope...

I really miss 2.0, when A Relic Reborn was just there from launch, and the actual process was quality content, rather than brain dead FATE spam... They really need to up their game here... Relic content should be something to fill the long gap between launch and the x.1 patch... Relics should be added along with Savage at the latest, not left up in the air like this indefinitely...

I dont disagree with you there. I've been spending my time crafting and playing through the 2 expansions of GW2 storyline I didnt do when it was released.

The content lull early on in expansions is pretty awful.

Actually the last time Yoshi answered the question about 5.0 relic, is that it will be a mix between 3.0 and 4.0

I’m hoping they release the relic in 5.15 like the Zodiac and Anima weapons. I’d like to have it sooner rather than later.

I believe that "don't know yet" was said back during the lead up to ShB's release. It was likely that they were still discussing whether they were going to tie the 5.X Relics to the next Daidem/Eureka type zone or a Zodiac/Anima questline. If they decided to go with an independent questline then the new exploration zone will likely require its own unique weapons.
