It's not like I could realistically prove someone is using one, but from observing PvE bots they have a definite capacity for prioritizing targets based off of their current HP percentage. Adapting it to work in PvP situations would be extremely simple and could even just effectively be turned into a "target lowest HP enemy/ally" hotkey if someone wanted.
It's mostly observable with heal bots as they'll instantly start spamming heals on you if you, say, change your job from DoL/H to DoW/M near them which puts your HP into a "critical" threshold. I typically encountered them in Eureka or outside PotD/HoH.
Not only are you wrong but you're missing the point of what I said.
It'd be pretty useful for us to be able to help a player out if they had footage of a seemingly Invincible player and help explain what happened.
Maybe the nin is a legitimate hacking or just cycled fetter ward and bunshin to look like he had no damage taken or cc for example.
There are intelligent exploits with gap closers to negate fall damage, it's very precise timing that is often triggered by luck but abuse of server ticks, it's not cheating, tell SE to reconstruct the game's foundation from the ground up.
Attacking someone in front of you with an error seems more of a ping issue because again, tell SE to fix their game lol
Can't justify any of those **odd** observations without proof, it seems too unrealistic
Yeah, I'm a cheater you got me. :)
If he was not moving he is just a player who dc and logged back, they cant be attacked until they fully loaded back into the game. Their model however already shows to all other players. I can only recommend recording like Sors advised, yeah there are a few cheater out there and bots potentially, but not everything you don't understand is one (and people are jumping the gun fast, like in most PvP games where they lose).
I don't think "aimbots" would be useful if anybody is using them, cause of the lag and server ticks of this game (the moment you aim at somebody with low HP - he is probably already dead), to efficiently target and hit them you would have to play a range class too. Which is atm already a handicap cause they take 30% more damage and deal 15% less damage than melee. That's why its pretty hilarious to hear of aimbots in PvP, first time I heard it too.xD
As far as I know, the glitch is caused by the player experiencing it, so it would be hard for a player to really exploit it, since the person benefiting from it isn't the person initiating it. From what I've heard, it's caused when you attack a Ninja right as they gain their hidden effect; Client side, you hit them and cancelled Hide. Server side, the Ninja got Hide off and you shouldn't have been able to even target them. Client updates with server side information (namely, that the Ninja is hidden) and... Gets confused, I guess? Who knows with SEs spaghetti coding, either way the result is the Ninja remaining hidden for your client.
The NIN invisible bug is very rare and hasn't been fully fixed yet, I remember seeing it in a ranked Feast match one time where the player (who I know as a friend) was invisible showed what it was like on their view and they were perfectly normal on their screen but nobody could see them, I probably was in the same match as Ash as well when it happened. I've only seen it once or twice so at least its a rare bug and not a exploit that's going around.
Also Aimbot in FF, I've heard it all now lmao :D
