WAR's holmgang needs a resistance buff.

Right, so u want to give the move diminishing returns so warriors can waste a 45 sec cooldown and not have an on demand gap closer outside of sacrificing dps for an IR to onslaught?

You realize slow on tomahawk barely helps wars close gap enough to holmgang?

Im down for dr on holmgang if onslaught didnt cost rage, or tomahawk slow duration doubled.

I am telling you the discussion is about holmgang should have a DR like rest of actions. This action without DR is very strong on the Frontline. I am reminding you this is a discussion about prevent an action without DR will resulting a permanent stuntlock. This is a Frontline adjustment that has no impact on Feast. Why would you care about DR on a 45s CD in 1v1 or Feast? Yes, I am “positively criticizing” your previous comment

Holmgang not having a DR and ignoring any existing DR/resistance is an intentional perk of the ability. Hence why it's emphasized in the tooltip. It's balancing between the tanks. I originally said I couldn't see an issue of it having a DR on the draw as it won't affect feast, but in no way it should have one in Feast, and they can't exactly split it.

Catagorical DRs aren't impossible; we've had a patch-period with them before, iirc. We could, for instance, leave sleeps with long DRs and reduce everything else to 45 seconds, if we wanted to. Or, in this case, put draw-ins on a 45. There'd therefore be no effect on 4v4 Feast, but you wouldn't be obliging Unmend-Holm-Bash rotations either.

And im telling you having a dr for wars only trustworthy gap closer sucks and is clunky.

And not needed.

Cuz i find it hard to believe that you need to be chain holmganged by 4 warriors to be killed in frontlines.

No amount of healers can keep u alive for that long.

What harm does it cause, though? And how would the suggestion be discriminatory towards Warriors, alone, exactly? Holmgang is a draw-in, but it's not the only one. Should any group of players be able to pull an enemy to their death 6 times in a row, let alone be held their for full duration afterwards? We certainly don't allow that from stuns. Why should draw-ins (and their attached uniquely-classed snares, in Holmgang's case) alone be immune to DRs?

And you've been talking frequently about how WAR has so much rage via Infuriate that we rarely even get to experience a Storm's Path combo... How are you suddenly never having rage enough to Onslaught?

While 4 wars holmganging you sounds bad for you, it's also bad for them unless they happened to all be within melee distance of you.
They can't move, it's not like the new fancy pve holmgang where you can move. So you have 3 people stuck in place while the last war is hitting you.
