Lmao no. 30 minute penalty is enough punishment for leaving the duty.
And then we'll travel down the rabbit hole of "why are roulettes not giving me x/y/z content, instead because a/b/c reasons."
And that's because everyone wants to receive the maximum reward available that also requires the minimum investment. And I am not against this mindset, but the arguments always devolve into questioning "why" of it all.
I could see if it was Prae as i am always half tempted to leave as the tedious long and boring nature of it.. but i have not seen anyone leave thus far
I don't agree. If you as a healer screw me over in a dungeon that took me 30 minutes to even get into and the healer doesn't get replaced and we have to disband >_>
If had had this happen to you often enough you'd have a different opinion
Given that some duties can last longer than 30 minutes, no it really isn't. I advocate for duty time remaining plus 30 minutes (perhaps applying only the remaining duty time for if you get kicked, possibly lifted once they complete the duty?) That way it's worth more value to just get the duty done. There's a precarious balancing act to avoid people dcing to get kicked to avoid penalties vs making the penalty strict enough to make people want to just get the job done.
Yeah I agree with the person you disagree with. It should be longer.. like a day. Noone takes the 30 mins seriously and at that point the penalty isn't a penalty then. It should keep people from doing that, not reward people. So I'm in favor of it being longer and harsher.
I disagree with the person you agreed with that disagreed with another person and I don't know what I'm disagreeing to.
11m xp, woo...
Eh, I farmed the glam from Orbonne when the weekly was lifted from then till nigh end of prev expansion, the issue already existed. People leave when they expect the content to be a time sink with no reward in DF. Happens in orbonne, happens in Aurum Vale, happens in a lot of instances.
