If Dissidia had a Event or 6.0 Raid

They actually have enough weapons in this game to cover all jobs in 5.0 and potential new jobs for 6.0.

If it chosen for 6.0 Raid, they have plenty of material using the Opera Omina story to provide a story reason why the storyline is happening. As a cross-over event, it may just use Torsion as Fate events to spawn monsters in the Fate and we close it.

They can go a bit more unique though if they make it into a Episode based storyline like Hildibrand that uses a new system for a new Dissidia Opera Omina Map that separates itself from FF14 world.

As for why FF14 WoL is not mentioned currently except for Alisae, I can only asusme it is to avoid the issue of "canon" identity since WoL is based on the player's choices to what he or she looks and acts like.

Though it would be rather interesting if the FF14 WoL becomes a Customize Hero for DFFOO that uses our account name for their name but we can choose his or her Job and appearance based on what options they allow us to have.

The perfect Dissidia for me would be Duodecim on modern consoles with all of the added characters from NT. I really want to like NT, but it goes out of its way to make me dislike playing it. Shame, too- I've been wanting modern representation of Locke for years. Now we get it, and the game his modern form is revealed in just doesn't thrill me in the slightest.

Duodecim was pretty damn great, though. It's irritating that they didn't bring Gabranth, Gilgamesh, and Prishe to NT along with the other chosen. Frankly I'm not sure why anyone would want to play as Vayne.

yeah they did just about everything to just ruin the series which is such a shame

only saving grace NT has is they can port assets into 14 easily

All the Dissidia resources seem to go into DFFOO now in my opinion. It is the thing Dissidia fans enjoy because all the expanding character developments, lore, and character interactions between eventually every single FF character people wanted or never expected but gladly got.

Still we will never know who won that Squat battle :p

I would hope it would be the original Dissidia that came out on PSP. And hopefully it would be an Alliance Raid.

I never played any Dissidia so forgive my ignorance, but aren't the Omega raids pretty much a multiple player vs enemy version of it? Though I guess we would need protagonists from pervious games as bosses as well?

I was wondering this as well, as someone who has played Dissidia (not the mobile one though, just mobile games don't pique my interest). I mean, they even used upscaled models and animations for Exdeath and Kefka in those. I think they mean our hero vs other hero, but I'd much rather just have the raids we have at the moment. I also think they mean maybe the bosses from NT? Idk i didn't play that one long it lost my interest quick and disappointed quick. Dissidia even had Chaos as a final boss so I'm really confused by this whole thread.

I personally don't see how they could extend this to a whole raid series, especially given how much of a struggle it is to get the rights to other FF games in the series for some reason and on top of that the whole Omega raids seemed to be just promotions for Dissidia NT anyway.

Opera Omina is actually the version that has the potential to make a full raid series due to being more story focused and having a actual focused storyline that already provide the lore for a Dissida Opera Omina Raid storyline to happen. It will depend on which Story arc they choose though since Act 1 focus more on the Torsion while Act 2 focus more on another issue.

Keep in mind Opera Omina has Thancred, Y'shtola, Papalymo, Lyse/Yda, and Alphinaud taken into Dissidia world during the 2.X era and only Alisaie was taken from the 4.X era so if we get a Opera Omina Raid and encounter them in it as the 6.X Raid Storyline NPCs along side all the other FF characters that have joined Dissidia Opera Omina by then they will only have the memories of what happened up to 2.4 and Alisaie will only have her memories up to 4.3 or 4.4.

Still it will certainly be a nice way to see Papalymo again despite the feel it will bring with WoL knowing what will happen to them once they "return" to their world and the moment in time they were taken from their world.

On that note, I do suggest you find a way to watch the Opera Omina storyline and event storyline even if you don't play the game. The game provides tones of new lore and character development for all FF characters that is both enjoyable and fun that they could not have in their original game due to REASONS. Some of the stuff involves their life After their FF game ending while some explains certain character's behaviors such as Seifer dream of becoming a Soceress Knight started when he watched a movie about the Battle against the Sorceress which is also the same movie that Laguna was a actor in as the Sorceress knight. Seifer inspired his combat style after Laguna's Gunblade combat style from that movie.

Of course there are plenty of sad moments as well as characters remember the ones they are reunited with such as Machina since he is summoned from After Type-0 ending so he is the only one who remembers his friend's deaths. Rem does not know about the Type-0 ending because she was summoned from a Time before Type-0 ending.
