I wish I could. A trip for me would be 7+ miles to town to get fast food, and I am out of delivery range. I have to prepare everything I eat myself. :(

The answer is no. I'm all for more cutscenes involving some nice looking food but this game's tendency to use Gamecube graphics for the food models is very off-putting. FFXV this is not.

This is something I see with the JP in general, both in games and anime. The emphasis they put on making food to look tasty. FFXV had me drooling hard, and admittedly XIV did it at times with certain food descriptions.

No, should it?

Sure if I'm playing for several hours straight and it's been a while I last ate I might get hungry but that's rather the passing of time then 'playing'.

I wonder how meol tastes like.

Raiding makes me hungry, does that count?

But to be serious about it, yeah - some of the 'meals' I can cook make me hungry, I kind of want to prepare some of the meals. Need me an FF14 recipe book. But hey, least it's not Monster Hunter... now that makes me starving.
