Removal Of Anima

The problem is that the current world design is incredibly boring and tedious that I can't stand to run through it, so I use anima to get everywhere and run out in a few days. After that I tend to just stop playing for weeks 'till I get it back

Honestly, if the world were worth seeing and fun to traverse, I wouldn't mind the removal of anima and easy teleportation in general

You know full well that no matter how exciting they can make the world you WILL get bored of it and start using anima again right?

Since when is being too lazy to go somewhere a reason to dislike anima?

yes, i am sure i solo'd all of the r50 quests for each job and never did anything else with my ls. keep jumping to a conclusion that couldn't be farther from the truth.

i'm sure every member of your ls has every job unlocked and completed as well. not all of mine has them completed, but they also don't have the ranks to do them.

Yes, but it would prevent me from giving up the game once I hit 0 anima.

Not wanting to put up with poor design =/= being lazy

That was super hard to read, and why do we have to eliminate it, to add something else?

Both can run concurrently, anima would be great for short bursts and casual play, while teleports help in the long run and give functionality to thm/con

that's exactly the point i tried to make. people want too much of this "let's remove this and add that" instead of "i would love to see this in addition to that"

Just leave the things the way they are for now, change it in 2.0 when we have different scenery and everything is enjoyable to run through.

I didnt mind running from Jeuno to Sandy on Choco in XI because the Environment changed often and it was pleasing to view, but say Uldah to Broken Water? *vomit* its disgusting lol.

In 2.0 i wouldnt mind the removal but honest the way I think it should be:

Anima for low level areas, this helps new players get around and do things fast, but once you get high level and have your chocobo and have gil to fly around, and the skills to survive a mob ambush, then you cannot teleport. Further high level areas should be locked out of Anima in 2.0 for that Adventure feel, but keeping Anima for the low level/starting zones.

i was on topic. you are the one that originally went off topic by incorrectly stating things about me.

the topic was removal of anima and the on topic response is if people could regulate their anima use they would be just fine. they could add other options in the future for teleporting and that would be fine, but removal is just a wasted subject.

Anima does not need to go. You're white knighting XI. Stop trolling.

If you don't like anima, don't use it. Your "immersion" factor is as good as you make it.

I for one, don't enjoy spending hours walking from zone to zone only to have my party fall apart because it took too long to get there. Neither do the people who QUIT the game. XIV is not being made or redone for you or the XI community.
