Yeah, pulling without a countdown in current EX/savage content is generally a hard no-no. You have every right, along with anyone in the party to not to condone that kind of pull. Many will just wipe because of not being able to have an opener, or even kick tanks out of PF that do that.

I often find myself having to spam Heel because the Fairy decides that she’d rather just float around in the corner than stand near the party when I ask her to use Whispering Dawn lol

Also, maybe I’m just imagining it but after using Summon Seraph I’m sure the fairy won’t return to where you placed her and follow you around instead. Though maybe this issue is resolved by just placing Seraph (I tend to just leave Seraph on follow since when i don’t often use it during movement phases anyway)

One example I move between fairy follow and place in E1S, there is that time where everyone goes to the corner and that can be a good time to put up Seraph or Fey for the Delta attacks, which will take away 80%+ HP unmitigated. Then you have a few more AoEs after so re-applying her "fairy succor" works well, along with WD. Then re-place again when everyone is back in center.

Like, I forget sometime and that's plainly on me, though most likely the first thing I do when I revive is to revive someone else.

The Seraph will stay at the original faeries location when u summon her.

I mean you do have an icon, it's called the pet hotbar, if it's gone you don't have your fairy out.

Some of us don't have the pet hotbar turned on to display. I'm on controller and have the applicable fairy skills assigned to my crossbar. Why would I want the horizontal per hotbar showing that I don't have keybound because I don't play with a keyboard + mouse setup. It's just clutter at that point.

Fairy should just be auto summoned at this point and given a glamour to choose Eos or Selene. If you place and move out of range she should poof and respawn at your location. Change the pet bar to place & follow. That’s it we really don’t need anything more from her at this point. The dev’s are not going to give us back control of embrace so this is the best option imo. Non of the other healers have to worry about part of their toolkit despawning.
