I highly doubt the entire country is waiting to see/cares if S-E starts their servers back up....

You guys need to get over it. Half of Japan is already back to work as if nothing happened. SE themselves said they were working.
Japan is not a weak country, they have a strong self obligation to get things back up how they were as fast as possible. Their work Ethic is HIGHER then anyone else world wide. And they always come back from the brink of oblivion stronger then they were before.
Stop acting like Japan is a third world country and not one of the strongest economies on the planet even with this disaster.
Yes we should be charitable and give them aid. But do not dictate how they should spend their time.
Indeed.
What happened was a terrible tragedy, but life goes on. SE does not work at the Nuclear reactors so they should be trying to get back to routine. Most of those who still have jobs (aka didn't lose them due to the destruction caused by the Quake/Tsunami) are back to work. Normalcy is needed now, mourning will go on for a long time to come, but in order for Japan to rebuild they need their economy as strong as possible, which means people need to work and spend.
Servers will be up as soon as they can get em up. I expect them up within the week, next week at the latest. Either way I am content playing catch up on some console games until FFXIV servers are up again.
I do not see anything in this statement that says servers will be coming back up. In my opinion, SE will be giving us another update on the situation and will keep us posted more regularly on their actions concerning the servers and 14's development. However, if anything, I think they will get FF11's servers up first since they have paying subscriptions and then we might get 14 back up at a later date.Quote:
We will re-evaluate the situation on Mar. 22, 2011 (JST) and provide everyone with another update regarding this matter.
So nobody get the wrong idea and then get upset when nothing is back up on the 22nd, okay? :)
If server keep extended suspension, I wonder how many player will come back again when they already put it down.
Vesper and cair.. just grow the ef up. :)
sorry your posts are getting annoying. Currently japan atm looks like a third world country. A whole town was washed away incase you didn't see. And add the fact radioactive food was found over this week.
Just because japan isn't a third world country don't me you need to repeat the "life goes on" Many of us prob lost japanese friends and are in mourning.
I lost my friends so i'm in mourning of their passing. Sorry its too soion for the "life goes on" speaches. Wait 3 mnths.
