i dont accept this location of the servers or latency as an excuse,

its not like my net conection is a bad one and i allways turn my porn downloads off when playing.

it is 100% down to the game mechanics, i dont know what the issue would be with giving mobs slightly longer startup times to account for the latency of people that dont live next door to the servers.

like i said they knew about this because there was a huge fuss over the ifrit fight, did they just choose to ignore the issue?

The problem with increasing the gameplay to compensate for latency issues, makes the game feel slower paced, FFXIV is already pretty slow paced compared to other MMO's on the market.

Slow paced MMO's feel archaic to many new customers and that's not a good thing if they are hoping for 2.0 to bring in more customers.

The only real solution is to have regional servers but we all know that's never going to happen.

I'm just glad I'm not a fan of PvP.

This happen a lot yesterday to us, in the end we decide to tank with WAR and use feather foot and foresight to evade and parry that attack, and war have more hp so it will survive 100ton if get hit

How come people allways say what they cant do and never what they can do?

i gave a suggestion which i think is practical.

there is a problem so it needs fixing.

As soon as you see it on the chatlog say 100Tonze Swing ~ /move. :P

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just trying to be realistic, I would love regional servers as I say.

Hello, i had and still have Latency in fight like Ifrit,(im from Italy) but in The Aurum Vale, is pretty Smooth, never had Latency on Coincounter, there is 2 kind of 100 tons smash 1 is cone attack very fast one handed, can be dodged goin just behind him even as tanker, the other one is 360 aoe and uses 2 hand and the casting time is enough to run even whit latency. hope to be of any help.

Get better gear so you can straight tank it if evading the skills is an issue, also our melee evades coincounter just fine, this thing is easier to evade than ifrit.
