Because when the servers crash everyone who was on it gets kicked and then they immediately try to get back on. They can't just let everyone on at once again because it will cause another crash. Hence queue.

I feel bad for all those ppl doing Alliance raid and got an annoying one like Rabanastre, get to the final boss, then this happens xD.

A few minutes ago I got on and noticed that I was getting some delays while accepting a few beast tribe quests. It seemed to sort itself out and I went about completing a couple of quests. Then suddenly I lost connection to the server and when I tried to log back in there were nearly 2000 players in the queue. Decided to just try again later.

Started at 1200 got to 74 then encountered a lobby server error and got kicked to desktop. LOL

Saw lots of people crash...including our tank. Waited about 10-15 mins for the tank to come back online (myself - healer and 2 dps) before we booted the tank and got another. Managed to finish the dungeon (thankfully) and then got dc'd immediately after the dungeon.

I can't get back to the queue keep getting lobby server error. I needed this to distract me today too, gah!

SHB was such a smooth launch though, I am not gonna complain about one spotty day almost a month later.
