I agree with this, I understand the lore implication but it'd be awesome if we could see it again in gpose.

With new game + coming in 5.1 you should be able to effectively go back earlier in the story I think and see the light if you want. I'd rather they not cycle it into the regular weather patterns, would diminish the story impact if it just randomly showed up now and then.
I would like to be able to turn it back on... I did not get to enjoy Lakeland fully because the first mission you get that has you do something in that zone shuts it off. Unlike the rest of the zones I've seen so far I've been able to explore them fully before then. I know I could have freely explored it before hand but the story never directed me to go anywhere in the zone until after... I was quite disappointed.
More so is our lasting memories will be without the light. Depending on play style, 2 days to 2 weeks of seeing this while progressing story, and then it is gone for the rest of the games life? That's sad. (Short of starting a new character of course)
I'd LOVE this. I was very sad when I realized that the Everlasting Light was temporary. It's both very beautiful and very creepy, makes me feel unsafe, and it's also great for screens because the weather won't suddenly become darker. I know it can't be back, but at least I wanted to say how much I love it, haha.
Not having Everlasting Light almost makes me regret finishing the storyline.... All those missed screenshot opportunities!
I'd love to see it, or something similar, make a return. Maybe even have some special fish or monsters that show up during the weather effect! :O
One can but dream.
It's strange, I kinda hated it. It was a...unnerving light effect for me. Kind of gross lighting. Cool in that regards, but not something Im found 'beautiful'.
I loved that light sky. FF in general makes some very beautiful skies. Sadly, it wouldn't make sense for it to be a weather sky, since to the rest of the First, it'd be a sign that the sineaters are back. Though, I do agree: most of the areas looked better with those skies.
(It's weird, but I found Il Mheg to be nicer in that fog, too. I'm not religious, but it had an ethereal, almost heaven-like vibe to it.)
I have to say, if they did do this, I'd hope it wasn't often at all. The light was way too bright for me - actually painful to look at in some zones, especially when I looked up. Couldn't stand it at all.
And yes, I have my screen brightness lowered.
