If SE was only trying to please eastern fans, it would be added i believe. But you just can’t do things like that for western players. Over here we find that immoral. But for games like BDO or Blade and Soul, it’s catered more towards easterners.

On my server there was a pf from a lala who offered to ERP for Gil. This was over a few weeks. I found it really sad

This was already addressed by the developers.

If you want to play as a child, the closest thing you can get is by playing as Lalafell.

This is a solid nope.

Yoshi P said no because of the Western audience but likely also because of Sony and how much more effort it would be to add yet another race. He isn't opposed to adding new face options that don't necessarily change the shape of the face but said features will have to come at a much later time.

He's likely worried about the imminent shitstorm that would occur from the NA side of things. The minority (no pun intended) politically correct crowd have the loudest words and the last thing thing he wants is a controversy over what is pretty much nothing for most players. But it's the few who would ruin it for everyone. He doesn't want the community divided, and he just wants to make an enjoyable game with enjoyable people playing it. So far, it's work well. BDO's forums are pages and pages of people arguing not only why did they add a playable child race but also why in the NA client it's heavily censored. Imagine that but here? I don't think anyone of us wants to deal with that crap but BDO has a "special" community anyway.
