Game Keeps Crashing at Limsa

Yeah we're still in this situation. They are aware of it and working on a fix, but who knows how long that could last.

Surprised they haven't done an emergency maintenance.

DDoS attack, many people are experiencing problems because network difficulties.

Update: I was able to get it to work and teleported out of Limsa. :D
I think something was wrong with Limsa (at least in my game). On the map, where the Itinerant Moogle was for the Moogle Treasure Trove event was a black square.
The time before this one, I looked over to see that area (it looked normal) but my game had an Not Responding message on it then closed itself.

It's not the DDOS attack, that's what's causing the connectivity issues. Problem here is the game will repeatedly crash when you load in. Only affecting some people, not a lot if GD is anything to go by.

I tried to go back to Limsa and my game still closes itself. =w=
I was able to get a screenshot of the black square on my map.

I keep getting DCs so right there with you.

Update: So I was still having this problem yesterday evening, plus it also happening whenever I would try to open the marketboard or one of my retainer's inventory (I have three but was able to open the other two retainers' inventories just fine). I reinstalled the game and it's working fine now. :D
My best guess is that something got corrupted while downloading the 5.0 patch. :B
