I don't believe we'll have exact numbers until it's available, but assuming somewhere around 6-10GB would probably be a good bet; Stormblood's total patch size was a little over 6GB, and Heavensward was around 8GB.

How about PlayStation? Does anyone have experiences with it?

The size hasn't been announced as of yet as far as I am aware. This goes for all platforms. In regards to downloading it, just place your console in rest mode and it will download the ShB EA update for you.

auto download begins tomorrow (Jun 26) for PS4. doesn't say file size though but when it begins you'll be able to see on the notices/information.

It's probably gonna be like 20gb.

Sony says that the PS4 download will begin @ 0001 on 06/28/19. PC should be around the same time. File size to be 26 Gb.

For a brief shining moment, I thought the "It's Patch Day!" thread meant the pre-download was available right now.

You will be able to start downloading Shadowbringers data sometime during the 24 hour maintenance.

As far as I’m aware, no. It’s not usually available until much later in the maintenance. Expansions tend to go up earlier than normal patches but I wouldn’t expect it to be available until around midnight EST
