Most if not all low level gear (IMO) isn't really worth selling, as you can get a fair amount from dungeons and the NPC merchants.
There is a bit of a niche market if you want to aim for good low level HQ crafting/gathering gear though.

From what I remember of my early leveling days crafters overpriced that hear so much I couldn't afford it anyway so the point was rather moot. 20k for a level 20 chest piece.....There's no reason for that kind of price gouging.
