Wouldn't it be awesome if we could play as kids?

im agreeing with you, atoli. I think it may just be a taboo / fear so thats where the mind goes. I played these games as a kid, so I suppose that's where my mind was...

Also, just a side note. Those games where you played as kids were probably for kids. They don't have mature content, unlike FFXIV. Those games also have the strictest of rules and mandatory chat filters.

Well there was a item in Final Fantasy XI that turns you in the child form of your respective race. I don't see why that also can't work in FFXIV.
