It was an attempt at sarcasm. I know exactly what it does. It just doesn't server any real purpose for what we do now.

I dunno, I like to use what little we have in the way of Enfeebles :)

Although this may sound true- Do you think the debuff of Melle job are effected by enfeebling??
I tested + 90 Earth potency and +28 potency ON PUG- and it did not increase the dammage done by Elemental fist-
Hence I was guessing enfeebling isn't even working at this point or enfeebling or pie doesn't even effect Stun bind dot-
I do know however It effect's sleep ---- For some reason blackmage with higher pie and enfeebling lend's Sleep much better then me having a very low pie and no enfeebling or pie gear at all- In dungeon i cast sleep mine get resisted a lot more then others even though I do have HIGH m.ACCURACY-

At first i though it would be Magic accuracy would be how much it landed and Enfeebling would be how long it would last or do just because of the logic of magic potency being how much it does and accuracy how often it lands.
I think it's more like Pie enfeebling is how much it does and if it lands- but i'am not quite sure on this one-

How are you coming to the conclusion that because Earth MAP doesn't add damage to Elemental Fist, that PIE doesn't effect stun, bind, or DoT even tho it increases enfeebling? Or am I not understanding your post? Magic accuracy only increases the chance of landing and not being resisted iirc. Not sure on exacts specs for enfeebling, but since enhancing effects the amount of regen per tic, or potency of stoneskin, I'd imagine enfeebs work the same for DoT etc...

Oh that is not true. We tested it on higher mobs, one of us INT Mind only, the other INt Piety, and I did more substained damage, and was not resisted , when all is into INt and mind, damage is reduced becuase you become resisted and have no magic penetration to work with. Piety actually helps in battles where thunder or ice is normal a weak element against the mob.

So BLM should gear for PIE as well?

I'm not really getting what you are saying. how does PIE help with (damage) spells not getting resisted when it is MND that actually adds magic accuracy?

Some piety not all piety that was the misunderstanding. Helpful in certain runs and lower level, less when upper level or where enfeebling plays no role.

There is a reason restatting is given.
