Kill Sentries last.

i got my war legs last night, they are were people are saying they are.

There is a thread not too far down in this section of the forums that has already explained exactly how to do it.

Are you staying on Warrior throughout the process? We had a monk in our ls unable to get their gear in DH because they were on BLM. Running the instance on MNK fixed the problem.

In first room where you are split into 2 groups, save ants for last and kill at same time as other group. Next room, your 2 groups will now be back together. Kill sentries (big ants) last, unsure if they need to die at same time (we always kill them together). Do this for another 1 or 2 rooms, then you will eventually take a port to a hallway with no mobs, 2 treasure chests and the brd/war af boxes. The next port leads to princess.

Just an FYI - you don't have to be on that job to open the crate and obtain the AF.

The problem was probably that you proceeded further into the dungeon first, which makes the chest despawn.

That doesn't make the AF crates disappear though, just normal chests. More than anything it was probably some random stupid glitch that occasionally happens in this game.

AF chest despawns in AV if you remove barrier first, don't see why it wouldn't be the case with the other places.

Dunno, I've had a buddy step on a tele-trap before he got to his AF in Cutter Cry, someone popped the Princess Cutscene early and the chatlog showed "All creatures returned to the void, and a new wave emerges" and he was still able to get it the AF after that point. Could have been a fluke though who knows.
