You have a lvl 63 RDM and a level 57 SCH and you haven't done Akh Afah Amphitheatre which is a lvl 50 MSQ quest?
I leveled two alts on Mateus to level 50 in less than 10 days for the car including earning the MGP needed for the rewards. It's really not that hard to do and it doesn't take all that much time given the skip buttons work wonders. Granted there are additional update quests past Pratorium to get through prior to Heavensward for those who wish to continue past 50 but they can be sped through pretty quickly as well especially with only one character.
I have no plans to further level mine at the moment.
Endgame isn't some panacea that will make the game wonderful if you aren't really enjoying the journey to get there.
I have leveled it solely through duty roullete, and SMN/SCH in PoTD.
Yes, I know I am limited to level 50 and below content. That's one of the points. I don't have to keep up in gear with anything past ironworks. Heck, my SMN/SCH is still wearing the stuff you have at level 1! I get a level a day even at level 60+ doing dailies, with the 30% exp earring as well.
The main story sucks - the second time through. Even if you are skipping everything it takes forever. I'll get it to 70 and buy a SB skip when I can. Waste of time. At least I don't have to buy a level boost!
Log in, do dailies, log off.
Same. I got my car on mine as well. I level mine just to take advantage of the exp earring, and dailies, mostly killing time I guess. I don't think I would ever make more than that one alt though, way too much work for me. I just like to focus on one character. It's super easy to level in this game, and if you don't care about the price, for an alt, just story skip it. I actually do not think a level boost is worth the money at all. A leveled alt could be useful come the expac, which is, I guess, a motivation to level it.
I feel you tc, if it wasn't for dungeons/trials I would never have made it too. Don't confuse a lot of story for good story. At max level there is very little story every few months, maybe one evening, or a week of story every 2 years when new expansion comes out, so it is mostly gameplay.
The OP sounds like a perfect candidate for mindless mmos like WoW. They will love you there. Peace.
I know of people who don't even really have a main. They kind of play all their characters equally, and that's kind of crazy for me. It took a lot of work just to get my main where it's at, and I don't even have all the classes at 70 (granted, I only level classes I care to play, or to kill time), don't even craft. People must be super efficient.
thanks to all the people who did not offend me. i just arrived at my working place and will think about giving the game a shot during my work.
i really like the gameplay, graphics and music and i love that i can have all jobs on one character. perhaps i should just try to do the last 10 levels.
in my opinion sitting in front of my computer for weeks doing nothing than watching cutscenes is way more mindless than wow. but yeah, i expected this kind of response anyway.....
