All male Roe turning Hroth?

Probably a few, but the ogre look is a bit unsettling and the new stuff always glimmers like gold for the dedicated players. Nekos will always be the most popular because cats rule the internet, the expansion will just replace most humans and some lalafel and demons with bunny girls I think. I also think the big kitty look will be a hit for the ogre players.

I'm sticking with the jolly green giant.

Strangely enough most Roebros I've heard from are staying Roebros. Interesting that others are reporting differently ... but In Game I never talk to any Roebros and I'm not friends with any so there's that.

The main people I've seen wanting to convert to Hrothgar are Cat bois who want to become Cat MEN.

Not sure how popular the Viera will be. Back when I came here all the time to support them I figured they would be super popular.
But I've seen some people make good points that many ff14 players just don't play tall women much and I only personally know 1 cat girl who wants to convert. I also think that so few play the tall female races because of fundamental problems with the execution of elezen and Femroe. IMO they're gonna demolish the Elezen females and Femroe populations as they will be the most attractive option for a tall female. Prob pull from H-Lander Girls to.

I know some personally and they are all changing, then some I know just from online but they are all changing too and they are overall quite hyped so I was wondering if there would be any Roe left.

I've heard about Miqo and Aura changing too but even if they were like 6 people total it feels like it's a low amount next to the race popularity. I mean, there's no risk for extinction :p

It seems from this thread though that some Roes are staying Roes indeed :D

I've never actually seen a Viera in game before I didn't know until you shared they where tall. I've played FF7 and FF8 before this so I look forward to someday getting to wear an Aerith and Seed academy uniform glamour set, the only bunny girl I've seen in action was the one in the trailer jumping around with magic frizbees. The female roe's seems to be played by a certain circle of guys, for reasons...followed by male Miqo'tes...the subject that goes to a place Id rather not speak of. But I wish more would take advantage of Inns and houses...the dungeons and places I need to quest through have surprises the Dev's never added! #_# But warned about the possibility of on the box.

I'm curious to see how many fantasia'(v) to try one of the new races, and if they will keep them after the newness wears off. IM actually pleased with how my Miqote turned out, I've even been looking up and bugging people who also read FF lore about the neko tribes and lifestyle before they set out for adventure. So Im kinda lost in my own project outside of the current interests atm, 6 months from now I might start a thread asking what all I missed . lol

Yes, Viera are tall, like Fran in the Ivalice alliances. I think they will be more popular between male playing female players than actual female players but Elezen ladies would probably be the race suffering more I guess but they will be a temptation for all the tall races.

I hear ya. Gonna be a male roe, and on occasion a femroe, till the end. These guys are just the perfect amount of cool badass and hilariously funny. Plus they just look better as tanks which I main. Also not a fan of how tails clip in this game so now you get the worst of both worlds with hrothgar. Armor texture stretching and clipping.

Except Fran really isn't that tall....

Stand next to her sometime when you're in the raid again, I did for reference when I was hoping to get an idea for what male Viera would look like (before Hrothgar were announced) Not counting her ears, she's about as tall as a midlander. So if you put the Gold Saucer ears on a midlander, you're about the same height as her, which makes sense. If she was as tall as an Elezen then add ears on top, she might be too tall to go into some doors without clipping the ears as she enters.

On the original topic, I was a Roe before making my not really a viera look.... might just be going back to Roe later. Haven't been that interested in the hrothgar.

She's quite tall next to female miqotes and aura, especcially with ears included, which are the most popular. That was my reference.

It's good to know some Roe are staying Roe :3

It does seem to be the trend, I likely will convert my Roe into a Hrothgar as well, but because I really don't like the Roe model and animations, My main however is going to stay a Miqo, though I did consider making him into a Hrothgar when the Xpac drops, but I don't think I really want to be that big all the time, just when I'm goofing off.
