Should I report this person for an unjust dismissal? Happened during an Orbonne run

You instigated your own dismissal. Are you really surprised by what happened? When the WHM apologized you should have left it at that, even with the SCH not exactly sharing the sentiment.

My god, OP, are you truly unaware of your own poor play here?

If you're going to fail mechanics, faulty controller or not, you don't get to blame others. You're the one who's toxic in this situation.

Also if it's a PS4 controller, some of them have a fault where the joystick isn't calibrated properly and it will cause a camera spin. I had one replaced for the same reason.

You can draw no such conclusion from the contacts list; and based on the tone of your post, I wouldn't be surprised if the three people who weren't from that same server also voted yes to dismiss.

A controller is $60. I can't really just "go buy one" atm. The controller still functions well, aside from that one issue

So let me get this story straight:

1. You got Doom (due to a controller issue)
2. You died to Doom
3. You tried start an argument with a healer

Sounds like you got dismissed because people got irritated with you.

Mistakes happen during 24 man raids, like a lot. Sounds like you just kinda tried to rub it in the healers faces and got shown the door.

You failed to take the high road. That's what happened in a nutshell. Instead of being honest, you decided to be snarky. Humor is subjective. It would do well to remember this in future.

Player makes a mistake that leads to their death then proceeds initiate and escalate an argument with healers for not doing enough to compensate for players own mistake? Would 100% vote to kick too.

That's fine; but you're responsible for working around it. It's not someone else's fault if you fail mechanics because you're playing with a broken controller that you knew about before going in.

Honestly, the scenario went on a lot longer than it should've it. That's why I came here asking for oversight on what happened, because this is the first time something like this happens. If I just left it at what the WHM said, it would've been the better outcome. So I take the L and leave it at that.
