Loot, if works exact same as with players then I know I will probably only run with trust when available since all Gear/Materia/Materials/Minions/Music/Mounts will auto-drop to you.

playing with people gets old. I have much more fun playing alone like in kh3 or ff15 (two best games ever created) with npcs. It feels like a real rpg getting to actually go on adventures with the scions and not just have them in the background. that is why i probably do not like the scions now cause we never go on actual adventures. also i dont have to wait 30+ min on a elitist tank or healer.
People play mmos not to play with people, but to play alone in a game they can live and grow and evolve along side the game. Friends are secondary or icing on the cake. Most Japanese players play solo. Playing games just because friends are playing isnt a way to play. you are just a follower. Now if you and you friends both enjoy the game, that is acceptable. Lots of people quit a game cause their "friends" no longer play is not. I am like "if you really love the game, play alone meet more people or dont make friends just mingle and vanish." That is the best way to play for people who has a life and dont live in this game with their virtual friends.
Has anyone seen if we will be able to use the Trust System to complete a group and add AI NPC's to a small party. For example if I had just two players in a group but want to add the rest using the Trust System could I? Or is the Trust System strictly solo?
That's unfortunate if true; adding a trust-healer might be the only way to get a queue to pop if these healer changes go live ;)
I don't mind the MMO thing, but I'm just dead tired of speed running tunnel dungeons. I go out of my way to avoid it ... but I do love the tunnel dungeons, mostly. I just would rather tackle them solo with NPC AI at my own pace. Leave the online component for Primals and 8 or 24 man stuff etc.
From what videos have shown, it appears to be a special dungeon queue and the trust npcs appear inside with you. Basically better AI scripted squadron command missions, but without the squadron control bar.
Gamerescape's article + video on the Trusts. (just the random one I viewed, so many articles/videos today!)
I don't really see the point of the feature. If it's made for a demographic with social anxiety or who want a more solo traditional RPG experience, how exactly are they going to get to shadowbringers to try the content?
I will only object if this system is superior in time spent to doing the dungeon with actual players. By the twelve, squadrons do simply too much damage for any PUG to compete.
The game should not be able to play itself.
