Please learn to die on your own (no really, stop stacking the AOE)

This happens so much in Orbonne's final fight. Sometimes I feel like people are deliberately trying to assassinate me. Or... really want my attention.

"HEY HEALER, I NEED HELP! I'M GOING TO RUN AT YOU SO YOU NOTICE ME, OK?"

But seriously, a lot of this comes from panic. When first encountering this mechanic in any fight, most people don't know how long their AoE takes to go off so they just pick a direction and run.
Once you know how much time you have, it's easier make on-the-fly decisions like "okay we're both running in the same direction, I have 2 seconds left, it is enough to either change direction or come to a full stop"

So it's not just me.

I come out of Orbonne every time pissed off. About every time people come and drop AOE's on me. Last time I was standing in a corner with my AOE and a SAM runs to me with his to overlap the AOE's, killing us both.

Some people have admitted that they drop AOE's on lalas on purpose. I'm inclined to believe that, 24 mans are quite un-enjoyable for me nowadays because of 23 stacks of player debuff on top of my own mistakes.

I think its rather entertaining when someone runs with his aoe marker into the party. Its a perfect way to check who pays attention and who does not.

I don't necessarily run into a group with them, I generally just sit still and let everyone else adjust, regardless of where I am.

This is the best way to do this since people like to run into the same direction as the person with the marker over their head.

It's the same as some mechanics, the fire/water pool one for Ferdidad comes to mind. I usually just do my thing while I let people figure them out. Chances are that five people step into the same one as I do five times in a row and it still ends up wrong.

I do the same since anytime I have tried to move myself, everyone ends up coming with me anyway.

I died so often to something because i tried to avoid others and we ran in the same direction so i'm just not moving anymore and let everyone else go away. Works way better since people are running around like headless chickens anyway.
I never did the puddles there because people just switched them back anyway. :D
