My main joy was the new Jobs, Have one character with 50CNJ and THM and was like yes! WHM and BLM on the way to level up. I love mage best.
Then I heard they start at lvl 30 so hmm, least I get 30 to 50 but now I heard that if I have a CNJ 50 then I get a WHM 50, no leveling up at all. I really hope this is not the case.
Is there any solid proof saying what is happening with the new jobs yet? I hope what I heard was just rumours.

Jobs will not level up because they are linked to the classes, so for example 50 THM= 50 BLM, also any exp you get on BLM will go to your THM, jobs progress through quests, the first quest for each job requires the corrisponding class to be atleast level 30. After so many quests you get new job actions, AF etc, and as new patches come out, and the level cap rises I imagine more job quests will be added.

Also if you have a class below 50, so for example 30PUG you can unlock the job and exp on the job to get class exp, so in this example any exp you get on MNK will go to PUG, therefore leveling both class and job.

All this has been officially announced.

This is correct. The jobs are not a seperate levelling curve, they share with the class they are attached too. So if you were a 30cnj and unlocked WHM, then continued to play on WHM, they would level together as they share an exp bar.
