I'm on Midgardsormr and have always been. Literally for years our server always, Always had houses in the goblet. We are completely booked now because 6 month autodem but OP just wasn't trying. Either they couldn't get exactly the house they wanted and are whining or they didn't try. We use to legitimately have min priced houses in the goblet for months.
We don't need this toxicity on our server. -

There are actually going to be quite a few houses available when world transfers start and are allowed for free. Have had at least a couple mediums open up on Siren and I suspect many others with people moving now and not waiting for free transfers although not quite sure why they wouldn't wait.
Auto Demolition will see a slew of homes open as well. -

5.1 will probably make the new housing area available (assuming there is one). And if we are now going to help with the reconstruction of Ishgard there may be a 2nd housing that will become available.

If your biggest concern is housing then yeah this probably wasn't the best time to join. When the auto demolitions start back up houses will start going up for sale after some time has passed.
