Its time to fix Elezen

While I do agree that the whole elezen race could use a total overhaul to bring it up to par with the others races, I'd more than settle for just this small fix. If we can even get SE to do this one thing, maybe we can get them to do other things. It kinda demonstrates itself that Elezen were pretty phoned in way back in the day...but back then the game had a lot larger concerns. Its been years and its overdue to finally have this fixed, especially because if they can find the time to make brand new animations for new races, they can find the time to fix elezen animations.

On a business level it'd also be a great idea for them, because they'd essentially gain a huge wave of people doing fanta into elezen without the work of having to have created a whole new race to achieve those fantas. Everyone wins!

I don't see anything wrong with Elezen running. It's kind of elegant. What you might expect from an "Elf". I'm not going to cry if they change it.

I think the head to shoulder ratio is a big problem as well.

What? Elezen's emotes are fine. And while my back looks a tad stiff its far better than the male mi'qote swollen testicle run and the male au ra inelegant 'run'. We are supposed to be refined and posh. Our emotes reflect that along with our running animations. However, I will say that Elezens really do need some love in the facial department. One of our faces (the young male one) is very pixelated and its skull seems smaller than the other male heads. This is an issue that I think almost every race has and needs to addressed. Fix the pixelation quality of the faces that clearly have this issue.

I feel like altering something like that would be kind of tough so long after the release of a race, not because it can’t be done, but because there are going to be people who play the race who just love xy and z things about it, and if the devs just up and change something kind of significant they could alienate their existing elezen players. I do however think it would be great, and sorely needed for them to add a full four facial options instead of just having the current 2. That way elezen players wouldn’t be forced into a change they my not like, while also having more options if they wish, and more faces could draw in people new to elezen as well.

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure we haven't had motion capture since around 1.0. That's why so many animations look fairly stiff at times.
