You most certainly can, most people don't just progress through the stages one at a time, it's a dynamic process.
But the stages tend to arise in that order, even if they don't go away in the same order.

I've been away from this game for pretty much the entirety of Stormblood and would like to rejoin the raid scene during new content while it's relevant.

Im just fine with things as they are. Can't wate to see the polish on it all as well. Whate makes me really toss a smile at my screen? Alllllll the firkin salt and hurt butts. As a Fem-Roe... Ghot daym them cat men got it going on. Those bun gals to.

What is disappointed but still very much looking forward to ShB, because that's how I started and is likely how I will remain.

Somewhere between denial and anger. Maybe both.

I just want to mention, that everyone plays a game for different reasons. Some people play for the great character customisation, some play for interesting classes, some play for roleplay and some for challenging raids and endgame content. None of these has any more value than another, just keep that in mind when talking down other peoples opinions or disappointment with things.

I am very disappointed and regret perordering, because my reasons to play the expansion where not met with any great news but people who appreciate the game for other reasons still have the right to be hyped, even though I may not be.

Just please don't forget that when criticising someones opinion next time! :)
