But I disagree with BRD being pure support/off healer though, imo BRD should realy be a sort of Jack-of-all-trades hybrid character (using wide varriations of weapons such as daggers, 1hmaces and crossbows etc) with still having the unique power of song and music which is used for support and control.

The BRD we get now doesn't feel like BRD at all realy, too few songs and just a ranged weapon, its more like playing RNG/BRD then its own class...

On topic again, I realy can't wait for Dark Knight, but hopefully this time they have proper spellcasting potential as well as heavy meele (with SCYTHES!).
And the fact that Red Mage(the class that screams FINAL FANTASY to me) isn't anywhere near to being in the game yet makes me very sad every day ; ;

I don't know, Musketeer (honorbound,heroic duelist/gun user) transitioning to Corsair (basicly pirate, lawless, carefree) feels very off to me, the only common they have is both could wield sabers/swords and guns.

MRD > COR would make more sense lore wise in that case xD

I dunno. No more off than a someone who kills people for sport becoming a paladin, or a priest of life and death becoming a black mage, or an elementalist becoming a white mage, or an archer suddenly becoming spoony, or a thug for a casino becoming a monk... :P

And actually the muskateers in this game are pirates. They just happen to be the pirates who won the race and gained control of the thalassocracy. They aren't lawless though, so long as it is their laws we're talking about.

Hmm, I was hoping more for tamer or maybe even a blue mage type, but dancer could work too.
