They may be going back and upgrading them in the next expansion. Didn't they say they wont be adding any more races? If so they may have something like this in mind, instead of new races.

More height scales, more muscle sliders, weight scales - come on. I'd still be sad about the genderlocks but I could deal with it if I saw male highlanders with actual chuffing eyebrows.

You don't get to decide what people can be upset about. They did make an entire new race, the Hrothgar, which also had to have a gender left out. There was no reason they couldn't have picked one race to do and completed both genders for it.

If male customization options let me build my body type I'd be more inclined to play one honestly. However very few games allow you to make a 5'6" 120lb (I say 120 but I'm actually only 113) male character probably because they think only children would have a build like that and only want adult player characters. Ignore the fact I'm likely older than most of the people actually making the game...

They need to expand the character customization of existing races. (Mi'qote have it worst)

I would really like more character options for all old races.

Personally its not a big deal to me with these particular races, but I still feel that gender locked races are a step backwards into free Korean MMO territory.

I completely agree with OP and hope that we get updates to character customisation for all races.
