1. I hop on it now and then to look at the skills.
2. I was disappointed when it came out and am still disappointed now. I finished getting everything within a week and now have nothing to use it on until its level cap is raised.
3. No. BLU is one of my favourite FF jobs and I would have liked to main it here.
4. I want it to be made into a real job. I would prefer the carnival stuff be left in for the people that like it rather than scrapped though.
5. Open world, no. I see one or two party finders for it every couple of days.
6. SE seems to want us to think that way. I disagree and believe it can work as a full job in XIV. To me the heart of BLU is using monster skills. The skill learning itself has had different requirements throughout the franchise and XIV BLU does not need to match any of the previous ones.
Well I did recently make a thread about wishing for BLU to become a normal job.
But no, I haven't touched it ever since I pretty much lvlled it to 50 after trying really hard to like it. They managed to make a job I loved in all the iterations I played (including FFXI) into something unbearable.
The limited job system should be scrapped, in my opinion, and they should make BLU a full job.
I fool around with it every so often. I'm mostly doing Eureka and WT lately. Whenever I get those lvl 1-49 dungeon bit, I make sure to go solo Aurum Vale. And on occasion I'll do the weekly challenge. I just keep forgetting, along with my dailies.
I enjoy BLU for what it is. It needs more support and growth, but it's been a fun and silly ride.
I play it more than any DPS and Healer not named BLM, SMN, SCH and AST. So yeah, I make more use of it than the others. Which is nice, since I would likely not have played much of it like RDM and completely keep it at a distance.
Definitely improved on. I like the system, it just needs more legroom to express itself. More weird abilities wouldn't hurt either.
A little of both. Mostly the latter. I still see some low lvls learning spells in areas, but I see more people overall in need of primals.
Well, the devs have stated that they wouldn't have added it if it weren't for the LJ concept. So...probably. There are some fan made creations out there, but yeah, fan creations...am I right?
So no, I doubt it'd be added at all if it weren't for the LJ system. At least, not how I would've liked or expected it to be.
I personally just like dressing up in Blue... epic colour, to be honest.
Yes.
Once a week.
About 5 minutes, just to complete the weekly Masked Carnivale bonus, depending on if I can or not, since sometimes it asks that I use a Wind spell and I haven't had the chance to get the literal one singular Wind spell that BLU has which is from Garuda.
> Implying I ever enjoyed BLU as a Limited Job
Nope. Not even close.
Make it into a real job.
It's almost there as is, only a small handful of skills can be considered "Unbalanced" which can be easily tweaked into a balanced state.
Lolnope.
I feel as though BLU does not exist BECAUSE it's a Limited Job.
I still enjoy it for what it is, (the whole limited job thing) My only issue with it was the way it was released. As it is...its just get your skills and your done basically. ARR content has faaaar ran it coarse and its only fun under a new class only so many times before the idea of doing more ARR content gets kinda worn out. I wished they kept with the idea of a limited job but released its full kit up to level 70 with all content unlocked.
Literally the only time I switch to BLU is to do ARR FATEs, mostly for the Challenge Log, sometimes for fun, but outside of that it's dead content.
It was a pretty bad idea to lock half the abilities behind EX primals and group content when it was supposed to be solo content.
