That's like asking for Au Ra to have boobs as big as Thighlanders boobs... Speaking of which, why haven't they gotten around to making character creation better for both genders yet? I would totally be up for different body types that effect boob, butt, and butt sizes for applicable races(I don't know how this would work with Lalafell but they probably more like the Lilties in the 4th Crystal Chronicles game with the different body types).

Yoshida already replied to this: The reason is because of the engine and data server. The usual excuse.

Give us long hair, ponytails, buzz cuts, curls, braids, even mohawks, just, for the love of Bahamut, stop it with the 70 variations of bob cuts.

All they would have to do is make the longer hair styles thicker in the back so clipping doesn't look bad.

Pretty sure the main issue is that they use japan hairstyle as a base. I honestly never saw so many weird hairstyle in my life which made me go "that must trending in japan or w/e" . They need to increase their hairstyle pool tbh.

I'd be fine with more shoulder length haircuts etc.

I think part of the reason they don't do anything like butt length hairstyles is the amount of 'bones' they would have to animate to make it not look like a solid piece of plastic or something, not just the clipping.

The one thing I wish they'd give us along with this is the ability to attach hairstyles to glamour plates. I don't care if I have to pay 2k gil or whatever Jandelaine costs every time I swap to one with a hairstyle - I just would want to be able to tailor my hair to my outfit (especially if clipping is a thing) without having to go back to the crystal bell every. single. time.
