Regarding disciplines of the land, why don't resources deplete? It seems unrealistic that the same mature tree can yield unlimited logging resources for our warriors of light. Can you implement a system that demonstrates the reality of a finite environment, instead of an infinite environment for the players who choose to block off the rest of the world?

Is Aulus mal Asina a cyborg? He is connected to his magitek conveyor with wires trailing from his back. Does this mean cyborgs are present in the empire?

While I understand changing the old zones would be a huge thing, not only environment wise but also changing how the original MSQ will work, would you consider adding new areas only accessible by flying, not only expanding the zone but also adding a bit more of lore to it? It would be nice to be able to fly to the Umbra Islands instead of taking the boat, while also maybe discovering some other islands around it.
